PTC has negotiated steep learning curves while implementing the concept of power trading in the country and in the process assimilated significant knowledge of various processes in the power sector. PTC has had the opportunity to view the power market in a holistic manner as well as the experience of working in hitherto unexplored areas of the sector.

While PTC garnered extensive experiences dealing with the first few Mega Power Projects in the country which later translated into facilitating the setting up of Independent Power Producing Plants; it also gained valuable experiences while creating a power trading market as well as dealing with various governmental / regulatory bodies within the country, giving it a unique edge in understanding power market issues and structures.
